This edition is held in Njombe region in southern highlands, bringing together smallholder industry enterprises from across Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar
AMDT this year has facilitated five (5) agricultural entrepreneurs and agri-service providers to participate in the national Small Industries Exhibition hosted by the Small Industries Development Organisation (SIDO) in Njombe town. The participants hail from five (5) regions of Njombe, Singida, Dodoma, Arusha and Songwe.
The exhibitors at the AMDT stand include food processors and agri-service providers in mobile irrigation as well as agri-technologies and mechanisation. In this year’s exhibition, the theme carries a message around ‘small industries development for sustained development’, which perfectly matches with AMDT’s mandate.
The event was officiated by the Deputy Minister Industries and Trade, Hon. Exaud Kigahe. At the AMDT stand, the deputy minister engaged with smallholder processors in Sunflower and Pulses subsectors.
